VinCSS has recently introduced a new podcast titled “Into The Cyberverse,” aimed at broadening public understanding of cybersecurity in Vietnam. This marks the first initiative in the country to offer in-depth discussions on cybersecurity, featuring insights from top local and global tech experts.

The rising popularity of podcasts is expected to attract 504 million listeners globally by 2024, covering various subjects from economics to education. “Into The Cyberverse” is a standout, pioneering discussions on cybersecurity.

Annie Quynh Anh, Marketing Director at VinCSS and the podcast’s production director, highlighted the challenges in making cybersecurity appealing to the general public. “Cybersecurity often seems obscure and unengaging,” she said. “Our goal with Into The Cyberverse is to transform how the topic is perceived and make it accessible and interesting.”

The launch of “Into The Cyberverse” comes amid growing cyber threats in Vietnam, which are becoming more embedded in daily life. The country has seen significant online fraud, with losses amounting to $53 billion globally, $16 billion of which involved Vietnamese victims. Microsoft has identified Vietnam as a hotspot for ransomware in Asia, underlining the critical need for robust cybersecurity knowledge.

“Into The Cyberverse” not only connects the public with cybersecurity experts but also explores untold stories, enhancing awareness and providing essential knowledge for digital safety.

The podcast is available on the VinCSS YouTube Channel, featuring English and Vietnamese subtitles, and is also replayed on Spotify and other popular podcast platforms. The first episode features Hieu PC, a former cybercriminal turned leading security expert in Vietnam, who discusses current cyber threats and protective strategies.
